Since its founding in 1997, Chase Building Company, has been a local Durham based company. We've maintained the highest building and design standards for our community. Walker Harris, our founder, has three decades of building experience and is a third generation business owner in Durham.

Walker Harris
owner / founder
With more than 25 years experience as a custom homebuilder in Durham, North Carolina, Walker is well versed in all phases of construction and design. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics, he launched Chase Building in 1995, and has built countless high-end homes throughout the Triangle. He is a Certified Building Performance Analyst and has earned numerous awards in customer satisfaction, innovative design, and interior millwork.

Josh Quinlan
Superintendent / Project Manager / Designer
Josh is a NASCLA accredited general contractor with a large amount of on-site construction experience. After he completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps National Member, Josh then worked as a Site Supervisor for Habitat for Humanity building affordable homes in Durham. He enjoys anything outdoors and spending time at the Reality Center, a community space for people with and without disabilities.
